Engagement Rings - Gold and Platinum
18kt Gold Engagement Rings
Most diamond engagement rings are available in Gold. We recommend 18kt Gold, 24kt Gold is pure Gold but is too soft to use in engagement rings, therefore we recommend choosing 18kt Gold which is harder than 24kt.
Gold is naturally Yellow, however when combined with different metal alloys producing different colours including 18kt Rose Gold and 18kt White Gold.

Platinum Engagement Rings
Most diamond engagement rings are available in Platinum. We recommend Platinum over 18kt White Gold. While Platinum is slightly more expensive, it has a higher durabillity, therefore it is less likely to scratch. Well worth the extra few hundred dollars.
Platinum is also hypo-alergenic, therefore it is very unlikely to cause any sort of an allergic reaction.
